Specifications of Huawei P40 Pro surfaced
More is known about the specifications of the Huawei P40 Pro. The phone is expected to arrive on March 26. On this day, Huawei will also present the regular P40.
Thanks to a leaked page from Huawei itself, we learn more about the device. For example, the Huawei P40 Pro will have a 6.7-inch screen with a dual-camera punch hole. It contains a 32-megapixel front camera with a 3D ToF sensor.
There is also talk of five rear cameras. The main camera has 52 megapixels. It is assisted by a 40MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP lens, a periscope lens, and a ToF depth sensor. Of course, 5G is also expected.
The Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition (P40 Pro PE) will be equipped with 512GB storage space and working memory of 12GB. The 5500 mAh battery can be charged quickly with 50W, wireless charging can be done at a speed of 27W. Huawei equips the phones with the Kirin 990 octa-core chipset.
Finally, it is known that the Huawei P40 Pro will be equipped with IP68 certification and a fingerprint scanner which is integrated into the display. It is not entirely clear what differences there are during the Huawei P40 Pro Premium and ‘normal’ Huawei P40 Pro. In any case, the big difference with the P30 series is that the P40 series comes without Google services and without Play Services.
